Is rock climbing a need or a want for my two children? In the grand scheme of things, it is not a need, like water, food or shelter; just something they love to do. But they have definitely missed the comaraderie of their team, the familiarity of the gym, and the strength and endurance they've built through their first season of competitive rock climbing. Often the line between what we need, and what we want is blurred, making us ever so grateful for the things that we are missing right now, and the places that provide them.
