Other Fine Arts Resources:
Pat le Chat:
For a few weeks now, we have been reading a story on our Zoom calls about the adventures of Pat le Chat. Do you remember making Pat out of blue construction paper at the very beginning of kindergarten? Can you draw Pat? I wonder if you want to use crayons, pencil crayons, markers or pastels to draw Pat? You can take a look at the two drawings of Pat on this page, or you can also find a directed drawing video for Pat le Chat (Pete the Cat en anglais) here. |
Four Seasons Tree:
To make, first draw the trunk and branches of a tree on a piece of paper and colour. Make it big enough that the branches spread out to both sides of the paper.
When the trunk and branches are done, fold the paper in half, then in half again, so that the paper is divided into four rectangles. Then you can decorate using tissue paper, paint, crayons, natural materials, etc - whatever you like!
-Decorate the far left rectangle as a tree in winter, with snow
-The next rectangle can be a tree in spring, with pink blossoms
-The next rectangle can be a tree in summer with green leaves
-The far right rectangle can be a tree in fall, with red, orange, and/or yellow leaves.
